The first image I wanted to create, was an image at the point of impact using continuous shooting mode. This gave me the option of choosing the best of 6 images. With the second image I wanted to show the whole action from beginning to end in one image, so I used an on camera flash and set it to strobe mode +/- 6Hz, this meant that I only had one chance at getting the image I wanted. It took 3 setup shots before I did the final one below.
